HGF is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Patent Attorney to join its growing team in the Netherlands, working within its successful Electronics/Engineering practice. This role focuses on expanding the client base, fostering relationships, and driving business development in the Benelux region.
THE OPPORTUNITY AND THE CANDIDATE
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, file, and prosecute patents for major clients in the Electronics, Mechanical, or Software sectors.
- Advise on patent portfolio management, strategies for protection and enforcement, and FTO matters.
- Handle oppositions before the EPO and provide litigation and licensing advice.
- Collaborate with teams across Europe to deliver client work.
- Drive growth in the Netherlands and Benelux region.
About You:
- Qualified European Patent Attorney (Dutch qualification is a plus).
- Degree in Physics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience in patent prosecution, portfolio management, and oppositions/litigation.
- Fluent in English (Dutch is an advantage).
- Commercially minded, a team player, and skilled in business development.
