The successful hire will be involved from the outset in the growth and development of the trade mark practice, including having the responsibility to support and develop juniors.
The successful candidate is likely to fulfil the following criteria:
- A law degree.
- Be a qualified trade mark attorney with a minimum of five years post-qualification experience of hands on trade mark work, preferably within an Intellectual Property practice or a law firm. Candidates working within an in-house environment but having spent significant time in private practice will also be considered.
- Have a thorough working knowledge of EU, German and foreign trade mark law and practice, and a good background in general law and procedures.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and excellent attention to detail.
- Be able to demonstrate success in business development and marketing, including a proven track record of acquiring and developing new clients who would follow them.
