The Opportunity
Ipsilon wishes to recruit a senior Patent Attorney, with considerable leadership experience, to lead the Chemistry Department in Paris, one of the key pillars within the firm. Leading and developing a team of 6 Patent Attorneys focusing on all areas of chemistry, including organic and pharma, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing the department’s activities while cementing and growing relationships with key clients. You will ensure the personal and career development of your team members while creating a real team spirit and togetherness. Similarly, you will ensure the cultivation and strengthening of relationships with parallel teams across the growing network of Ipsilon’s offices. The Candidate
The successful candidate will ideally possess the following qualifications:
- Fully qualified European Patent Attorney, ideally with proven experience in a leadership role, or ready to step up into such a role.
- A degree in Chemistry or equivalent.
- A background working in either private practice and/or industry in the field of Organic Chemistry/pharma.
- Experience across several activities, including patent portfolio management, FTO matters and oppositions/litigation.
- Fluency in oral and written English is mandatory.
