THE OPPORTUNITY
Opie is growing and is consequently seeking an experienced lawyer specialising in intellectual property (IP) transactions. This position provides a dynamic environment and platform in a boutique law firm specialising in international technology.
As a German qualified lawyer with at least 8 years’ experience, you will have gained concrete IP transaction experience from a range of sectors and within international settings. Experience of Competition law would be an advantage.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- 1st and 2nd state examination with above-average results; a postgraduate law degree (LL.M.) with specialisation in IP Law and/or Competition Law is a plus;
- Excellent work ethic;
- Fluent German and English skills, including editorial skills;
- Ability to work in a focused and results-oriented manner in a dynamic environment;
- Good computer skills (standard MS Office, online resources);
- Very good interpersonal and intercultural communication skills;
- Flexibility, resilience, and reliability;
- Willingness to travel occasionally;
- Great interest in technology.
