We’re delighted to announce that trade mark and patent attorney firm Brookes IP will join the Venner Shipley Group, following successful facilitation by Adamson & Partners. This new partnership will expand their respective trade mark offerings and add further strength to their patent practice.
Brookes IP, established in 1852 and based in Tunbridge Wells, advises on patents, trade marks, designs and copyright, representing multinationals and large companies, SMEs and universities, as well as having a specialist focus on medical device and advanced engineering businesses.
Venner Shipley LLP, based in London, Guildford, Cambridge, Manchester, Munich, is a prominent full-service international intellectual property firm, providing a complete IP service to its client base. The firm, works with clients from a variety of industry sectors extending from major domestic and international corporations, to SMEs, universities and individual inventors playing a key role in nurturing innovation.
The addition of Brookes IP to Venner Shipley will see partners Clare Turnbull, Jane Martin, Rosemary Eve and Jonathan Hancox joining Venner Shipley along with senior associate Emma Hodge and other members of staff, with effect from 1 November 2020, raising the total number of partners to 30.
