Chris’s early career was in sales and marketing, notably with Unilever, before entering recruitment in the late 1990s with Michael Page and subsequently joining Adamsons in January 2003. Chris began life at Adamsons as a Consultant, helping the firm open its first office in London, before becoming a Director in 2010 and culminating in being elected Managing Partner in 2014. Under his leadership, the company enjoyed a period of significant growth, including the opening of a first international office in Munich, Germany. In 2024, Chris moved into the position of Senior Partner.
As Senior Partner, Chris’s role is three-fold: from a fee-earning perspective, he divides his time between being the lead Partner for Adamsons’ IP recruitment activities in France (he is half-French) and leading the IP litigation practice on an international basis; and operationally, he uses his considerable experience to mentor and train the company’s more junior employees.
Chris led the buy-out of the company’s founders in 2014 and implemented and executed the company’s growth strategy for the subsequent decade, notably the expansion into international markets and the broadening of the company’s expertise in line with the evolution of the IP market.
