The opportunity
We are partnering with Vantor to appoint a Legal Director for its International region. This senior in‑house role partners closely with International leadership and the International Government team, enabling complex, high‑value transactions across APAC, the Middle East and other priority markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Be a trusted legal partner to International leadership across APAC, the Middle East and priority markets
- Lead complex technology transactions: SaaS, software licensing, data/partner agreements
- Navigate international government contracting: procurement obligations, flow-downs, audit rights, acceptance/delivery, offsets and risk allocation
- Build scalable contracting frameworks (templates, playbooks, fallbacks) that accelerate execution without sacrificing rigour
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering and Government Programs
The candidate
The successful applicant should possess:
- Significant in‑house experience (ideally with law firm foundations)
- Deep strength in software/SaaS, data/IP and cross‑border agreements; government exposure advantageous
- Admission in England & Wales, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia or New Zealand (or equivalent where permitted)
- Decisive, pragmatic, and credible across cultures and time zones
