The role
The licensing landscape is continuously evolving as policymaking, jurisprudence, technologies, taxation rules and markets constantly develop. Sisvel’s Licensing Programs are at the core of its business and represent a significant share of the company’s revenue. The Programs Team is responsible for managing each program’s performance, operations, and relationships with partner licensors.
Due to increased workload and consistent program success, Sisvel is looking to strengthen their Programs team with the hire of a motivated Licensing Program Specialist to support the operation and growth of their WiFi Licensing Program.
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth, compliant, and commercially effective operation of the WiFi Licensing Program. You will work closely with the Program Manager and the Head of Programs, supported by the Program Support Officers, and collaborate with multiple internal teams. Key responsibilities include:
Program & Licensor Management
- Support the management of relationships with patent owners.
- Coordinate communications related to the program.
- Support discussions and implementation of program changes with patent owners.
- Assist in onboarding new patent owners.
- Ensure correct application and enforcement of the program’s terms.
- Act as a coordination point for the Wi-Fi Program
Licensing & Enforcement Support
- Contribute to the planning and preparation of licensing and litigation campaigns.
- Manage requests from the licensing team.
- Collaborate with Sisvel Technology engineers regarding patents in the program.
- Support the legal team with litigation matters and contract drafting.
- Coordinate royalty distribution in alignment with the distribution team.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work with the communications team to promote and advertise program activities
- Ensure timely information flow between internal stakeholders
- Contribute to process improvements and program optimization initiatives
